Seating Installation Progressing Well At Everton Stadium

The new seating installed at Everton FC, still in the protective wrapping Construction continues apace, with blue seats having now spread into the east stand of Everton Stadium.

The whole of the upper tier of the north stand has been infilled, and work has spread to the east stand.

The contractors aim to have the whole of the upper tier filled with seats by Christmas.

Work continues to prepare the lower tiers of both the west and east stands for the concrete terracing.

The removal of the giant cranes, following the completion of the roofing structure, means that the lower tiers can now be completed, starting with concrete slabs being poured at ground level across the length of the stands.

There, slabs will act as the foundations for concrete rakers, which will in turn support the double‑stepped terracing units to complete the bowl.

Externally, the western terrace continues to take shape, with the steel framework built to sustain the first‑level supporter walkway.

The south stand has taken delivery of double escalators, which will assist fans in reaching the second‑level concourse that hosts the full‑length bar with dramatic views back across the city.

The first boxes containing digital panels that will make up the two giant screens have also arrived on site, ready for installation.

Finally, the north west access tunnel is now operational, as the primary vehicular route into the bowl, both now and once the stadium is complete.
