FASET AGM And Awards To Take Place At New Venue On 23^rd November

FASET (Fall Arrest Safety Equipment Training) is looking forward to the biggest and best AGM and Awards in its history.

On Thursday 23^rd November 2023, over 100 guests will convene at Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club. Set within 200 acres of stunning countryside, this setting is both tranquil and within easy reach of Manchester and Bolton.

The AGM will commence at 10.00am (with registration and coffee from 9.00am). The evening event will begin at 6.30pm with a drinks reception. Around the awards ceremony, guests will enjoy a fantastic social evening, with entertainment from award‑winning comedian Pete Otway.

It’s designed as a celebration of the talents and achievements of FASET’s members. The awards will honour them with trophies, certificates and unique winners’ logos to be displayed on all FASET’s marketing collateral.

Awards Categories

The five categories for 2023 are:

• FASET Excellence of Work Award 2023
• FASET Health & Safety and/or Environmental Achievement 2023
• FASET Investment in People Award 2023
• FASET Installer of the Year Award 2023
• FASET Trainee of the Year Award 2023

As the trade association and training body for the safety netting and temporary safety systems industry, FASET is recognised as the authoritative voice for safe working at height, delivering support through quality guidance, dedicated training and exclusive benefit schemes for its members.

Industry Speakers

Already confirmed to speak at the event are:

• Bill Dunkerley and David Walton from Pannone Corporate are teaming up with Martyn Ostcliffe from the HSE in what promises to be an interesting session. They will also be leading a break out session in the afternoon to answer all your regulatory law questions.
• Katie Bancroft from Talent Inspire will be talking about implementing effective mental health systems
• Brian Parker from IPAF will be leading a session on contractors MEWP risks

Awards Dinner, Networking And Entertainment

The dinner and the annual awards presentation will commence with a drinks reception at 6:30pm.

Those attending this year’s event will be in great company. In addition to the FASET staff and board members, there will be the opportunity to network with a number of influential representatives from the HSE, CSCS, AIF, principal contractors, roofing contractors and the homebuilding sector. At past events, this has been the start of a number of strong and sustainable working relationships.
