Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Vandalised

Looking at the corner of Spurs Stadium pitch The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been vandalised. Reports say the damage caused will cost more £100,000 to repair.

Situated in north London, Spurs’ home ground was targeted during the international break, leading to parts of the ground being damaged.

The incident happened on Monday night. Officers were called to the stadium, arresting a A 30-year old person in connection with the incident, and he appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on Wednesday.



A Tottenham statement read: “We can confirm that an individual was arrested for criminal damage following an incident that took place on Monday night.

“There is no indication that this incident is linked to anti‑semitism.”

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has a capacity of 63,000 and is the biggest football club ground in London, and is regarded as one of the top arenas in world sport.
