Regency Design Prepare Solutions For The Re-Opening Of Stadia

Regency Design, the British design and manufacturing specialist, has created a 10-unit automatic hand sanitiser dispenser solution to support the safe return of spectators to sports venues when restrictions are lifted.

The double-sided mobile units have five automatic hand sanitising dispensers on each side to allow people to quickly sanitise their hands and minimise disrupting the flow of people as much as possible. The sanitising units feature SteriTouch Antimicrobial powder coating to protect them from the growth of bacteria, biofilm, mould and other viruses by up to 99.99%.

On a more functional level, the units provide lockable castors and are tilt and trip tested, making them suitable for large gatherings, and their mild steel structure allows them to withstand damage whilst remaining lightweight and portable.

Optional extras include a dispenser drip tray and IR thermal scanners that can read people’s temperatures from 80cm away.

Zak Manhire, Chief Commercial Officer at Regency Design, says that the bank of units will be paramount when it comes to keeping people safe once large gatherings restart: “It seems inevitable that we will see a gradual return to normality and hygiene will remain crucial in the country’s efforts to reduce the ongoing threat of the virus. The need for everyone to maintain good hand hygiene has the potential to create undesirable bottlenecks so our new units have been designed to allow a large number of people to sanitise at once to help maintain the flow of people and protect people visiting busy venues.”

The 100% British made sanitising units are fully brandable, meaning the bank of units can be used at any public event with the opportunity to display bespoke sponsorship artwork.
