75% Of Brits Feel They Can’t Protect Themselves From Breathing Contaminated Air
A recent poll of 2,000 adults1 found that airborne transmission of Coronavirus remains a key concern. Three quarters (75%) believe they can easily wash or sanitise their hands to protect against contaminated surfaces, but they can’t protect themselves from breathing in contaminated air.
Furthermore, 64% of people are now more concerned about air quality in the indoor environments they visit than they were before the pandemic.
The research comes as Rentokil Initial announced an agreement to distribute VIRUSKILLERTM air purification technology which is proven to kill 99.9999% of viruses with a single air pass, including Coronavirus*.
VIRUSKILLERTM decontaminates the air, by not only trapping but also killing airborne viruses, bacteria** and fungi. To find out more, please contact Rentokil Initial today.

* When independently tested against Coronavirus DF2 (a surrogate for Coronavirus), Adenovirus, Influenza and Polio, the unit was found to kill 99.9999% of viruses on a single air pass.
**When independently tested against reference bacteria (Klebsiella pneumoniae, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Staphyloccus aureus subsp. Aureus, Streptoccocus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, Escherichia coli), the unit was found to kill 99.9999% of bacteria on a single air pass.
