5 ExCeL is fully committed to the Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge which means they will have a 50% emissions reduction by 2030 and will become net zero by 2050.
6 There are plenty of points around the venue where you can fully recycle your event lanyard – so don’t take it home with you!
7 Not only has EMEX reduced the amount of carpet throughout the event this year meaning there is less wastage after the show closes, our event contractors also offer timber and material off‑cuts and part‑used paint to local schools and charities as well as repurposing delivery pallets for things such as seating and sheds!
8 The traditional printed show guide is out of the window for EMEX. Instead we’re using an app so you can explore what’s on offer at the show in a more sustainable way.
9 Bring a refillable bottle to use at the venue water stations instead of buying drinks onsite.
10 ExCeL has excellent public transport links so leave the car at home and visit EMEX another way!
