OAS Introduce Their New Line Marking Team At GroundsFest 2023
OAS Line Marking Team (L to R): Simon Hughes, Joe Russell, Sam Mitchell, Glenn Howard.
Origin Amenity Solutions (OAS) are exhibiting at GroundsFest where they are introducing colleagues from their recently expanded line marking team.
Headed up by Glen Howard and supported by Simon Hughes, both highly experienced and well regarded in the industry, they are joined by Sam Mitchell and Joe Russell in England and Wales, together with Phil Kirkwood who is already well established in Scotland. The newly formed team will provide a comprehensive level of support for customers right around the UK, including demonstrations, technical support, and training across a complete range of traditional and robotic line marking products.
The team can be found on stand 250 in the outdoor arena in their newly branded OAS trailer where they will be showcasing a range of line marking machines, from pedestrian spray markers to the latest technology in GPS guided robot line markers; alongside their industry‑leading line marking IMPACT ready to use paint range.
Visitors to the trailer will have the opportunity to win a free iGO Premier pedestrian line marker and two 10 litre drums of IMPACT paint – a fantastic prize worth over £900.
For those that wish to see the machines in action, OAS have supplied line marking machinery, paint, and accessories for participants to ‘have a go’ at Grounds Training interactive line marking training sessions - an Introduction to Sports Line Marking (Winter Games) and an Introduction to Sports Line Marking (Athletics).
OAS also has a stand (20) in hall 1 and are profiling their unrivalled offering for turf managers and grounds keepers. In addition, members of the team are sharing their experience with visitors to the education theatres. Peter Corbett, Chemicals & Digital Technical Manager will be presenting about the changing face of Chemicals and the effect this will have on the industry. Whilst OAS Research & Development Director Geoff Fenn will be discussing Microdochium Disease management and winter fertiliser recovery.
Glen Howard comments, “The launch of a dedicated line marking team is a fantastic development for OAS and I am delighted to be heading it up. Within the Origin Amenity Division, we design and manufacture our own paints and machinery and offer the largest choice of line marking equipment, paints, and accessories; as well as having the biggest sales and after‑service support team in the UK. We are also the sole UK distributor for GPS guided line marking robots TinyMobileRobots which I believe are by far the best on the market. All brilliant news for our customers.”
