Licensed Standing Area To Be Trialled At Middlesbrough FC
Middlesbrough Football Club is set to trial a licensed standing area. The Club will temporarily install independent barriers in two rows in the upper tier of their South Stand.
The barriers will be placed in the upper rows of Blocks 58‑60 and will remain there for the visit of Millwall on Saturday 14th December.
The Club has taken the decision after extensive discussions with the local Safety Authority Group and the Sports Grounds Safety Authority (SGSA).
The Club has contacted Season Ticket holders in the rows where the barriers will be installed.
Fans who travelled to Leeds United, Sunderland, Derby County or Queens Park Rangers this season will be familiar with independent barriers and licensed standing.
The barriers will be in place for the remainder of the season.
