Lytle Associates Architects And Isthmian League Partnership

A pitch-side view of one of Lytle Associates Architects design projects Lytle Associates Architects are delighted to announce that they have signed a partnership with The Isthmian League to become their ‘Stadium Design Consultants’.

This opportunity will enable the firm to inform football clubs as to how they can improve and update their facilities and grounds in line with current FA Ground Grading Criteria. We will do this by assisting with feasibility studies, planning applications, funding bids and unlocking land potential.

Lytle Associates Architects are especially proud as this is the first time that the League has entered into a partnership with a lead architect. Nick Robinson, their Chair, explained that, “this is a natural progression with Stadium Accreditation taking on such vital importance for all of our 88 Clubs. We have seen the work which the Lytle Associates Architects prepared for Farnham Town Football Club and wanted to make their services available to all our clubs.”

The Isthmian League is a regional football league covering Greater London, East and South East England, featuring mostly semi‑professional clubs. Founded in 1905 by amateur clubs, it now consists of 88 teams across four divisions covering tiers 7 and 8 of the football league system.

Acknowledging how much their design team enjoyed helping Farnham Town Football Club unlock its potential, Director, Richard Wilkinson believes that in this new partnership, “we can do so much for the clubs in the Isthmian League who want to progress and develop their grounds. As well as the design of the facilities we can also assist with obtaining planning permission, and support the clubs in their funding applications.”
