Asahi Super Dry, the Official Beer Partner of Manchester City, and the Club have announced the introduction of a new bar which provides a further space for fans to come together and watch Manchester City Women at the Joie Stadium.

The Asahi Super Dry Bar highlights Asahi Super Dry and Manchester City’s ongoing commitment to offer the best possible matchday experience for fans, following the launch of the partnership in 2022. To date, this has included the re‑brand of the Asahi Super Dry Tunnel Club at the Etihad Stadium to offer fans a best‑in‑class premium hospitality space, as well as the integration of cutting‑edge technology throughout the stadium to offer fans an improved matchday offering and experience.

The popularity of women’s football continues to flourish across the Women’s Super League (WSL) and an ever‑increasing number of fans are heading to the Joie Stadium to watch Man City Women. The new Asahi Super Dry Bar provides a premium destination for fans to enjoy an elevated matchday experience, including the recent Manchester City vs Aston Villa match where match‑goers were able to benefit from the new facilities as City continued their impressive start to the season.

Offering Asahi Super Dry and Asahi Super Dry 0.0%, the new bar is located in the North Stand at the Joie Stadium, which has played host to Manchester City Women since 2015 and remains the only purpose‑built women’s stadium in the WSL.

Ross McIntyre, Global Marketing Manager at Asahi Europe & International, said: “We’re excited to be launching the new Asahi Super Dry bar at the Joie Stadium. This latest project showcases our continued investment and support in elevating matchday experiences for Manchester City fans across the Etihad Campus.”

Paolo Lanzarotti, Chief Executive Officer at Asahi Europe & International, said: “The Asahi Super Dry Bar underscores our commitment to advancing women’s football both on and off the pitch. Building on the success of the Asahi Super Dry Tunnel Club at the Etihad Stadium, we are proud to be enhancing the matchday experience of fans at the Joie Stadium at a time when women’s football continues to grow.”

“The continued growth of women’s football is amazing, and we’re proud to support that growth every step of the way.”

Charlotte O’Neill, Managing Director at Manchester City Women, added: “We are delighted that the Asahi Super Dry Bar is officially open at the Joie Stadium. With more fans coming through the doors every year, we are continuing to invest into the stadium – offering a tailored and enhanced matchday experience for our fans – and we are excited to be working with club partners, such as Asahi Super Dry, to do so.
