PTSG On Song At New Performance Venue
The ABBA Arena is a bespoke, state‑of‑the‑art concert venue in East London. It opened in 2022 to host the world premiere of ABBA Voyage. With a distinctive hexagonal shape, the ABBA Arena London is located close to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford. The iconic building was designed by British entertainment architects Stufish. Their other projects include Stormzy’s “Heavy is the Head” tour and Global Citizen Live 2021.
Concept art for the arena was first made public in September 2021. This was when Swedish pop group ABBA’s hugely anticipated virtual reunion tour was announced. A disused car park close to Pudding Mill Station was chosen as the site of the purpose‑built venue, which would play host to the ABBA Voyage tour’s residency.
