Johnstone Burgh is committed to creating a top tier facility that not only meets the needs of their team, but also serves as a cornerstone for community engagement and sports development.
Key features of the redevelopment include:
State‑Of‑The‑Art Pitch
The Club intends to install a state of the art UEFA standard artificial pitch, replacing the current grass surface the first team play on. This will allow additional space for their first and development teams to play and train and reduce the number of postponed games per season.
Enhanced Walkways
The installation of hard walking surfaces around the stadium will ensure a safer, more accessible environment for all attendees.
Car Park Improvements
Upgrading the current parking facilities to a fully tarmacked surface, increasing convenience and safety for visitors.
Clubhouse Expansion
Plans to extend the clubhouse are underway, with potential additions including a modern gym, aimed at enhancing training and fitness opportunities for both the team and local residents.
State‑of‑the‑Art Sports Facilities
A new 7‑a‑side AstroTurf pitch will be developed along with modern changing rooms, making advanced playing surfaces available to the community.
Seating Upgrades
The iconic standing cow shed stand will be replaced with an all‑seated stand, improving comfort and viewing pleasure for the Club’s supporters.
