Commenting on the finalists, SAPCA chief executive, Richard Shaw, said: “We want to thank all member companies that submitted entries for the SAPCA Awards 2024. There was a large number of submissions and I want to thank the judging panel for shifting through, assessing and ultimately deciding on the finalists.

“As previously announced, the SAPCA Awards 2024 will highlight the social value generated by the facilities our members create. This is important because, to make the case for increased funding for facilities, we need to show how our projects deliver outcomes in health, education and social cohesion. SAPCA members already know and recognise this, as they see it 'on the ground' through their work. Our mission, now, is to demonstrate this to the wider world too.

“The move to highlight the social value is part of a long‑term strategy to grow the impact and recognition of the SAPCA Awards. While SAPCA’s core mission is focused on the technical standards and quality of construction projects, we also want to celebrate the positive impact that the facilities created by SAPCA members make in communities across the UK.”
