Nottingham Forest Reportedly Planning To Boost Capacity Using World Cup Inspiration

A crowd of football fans It has been reported that Nottingham Forest have drawn up plans to increase their City Ground capacity above 30,000, taking inspiration from the Stadium 974 used in the Qatar World Cup.

The club is consideration providing a temporary seating area that will be built on shipping containers, filling in the corners at the Trent End.



The plans are reported to be only at an early stage and no decision has been finalised about when the development will start.

However, as no planning permission would be required, it could begin before Christmas.
