BASIS are tracking down the best content, and more speakers are being confirmed each day. As you would expect from BASIS, the day will be packed with information, announcements and networking opportunities. Current content includes policy discussions, review of operational best practice and a session on reputational risk and partnerships, alongside member case studies and best practice. We also have two excellent keynote speakers (to be announced soon) and a session with Jonathan Overend, host of the Emergency on Planet Sport podcast, and special guests, reflecting on some of the top sustainable sport stories of the year so far.

Two exciting activations at the Conference are:

• UK Sport are planning a “surgery session” for stakeholders to better understand, check, challenge and question their new Environmental Sustainability Strategy.
• The Carbon Literacy Project will launch their new sport-specific carbon literacy training at the Conference. BASIS is planning a training session at the event – details to be released soon.

The BASIS Conference is the place to hear the latest information and to meet like-minded people in sport who are looking to manage their venues and teams in a more sustainable way. Look out for the separate email updates with more details coming in the next few weeks.
