A Record‑Breaking Season For Club Wembley
Club Wembley, the hospitality arm of Wembley Stadium connected by EE, has reported record‑breaking sales figures over the last 12 months.
Membership sales were up 10% on the previous year while the sales of seats in private boxes rose by 14%. Membership renewals were also well over 70% for the period, which is a record amount for Club Wembley.
Previously, the 2021/22 season was the most successful year for Club Wembley. Last year’s results (22/23) have outstripped those figures, highlighting the rising demand for hospitality at big events post‑covid.
Paul Scannell, Head of Club Wembley, and Hospitality at Wembley Stadium said: “More and more people now want to enhance their match‑day or event experience by adding on hospitality options.
“Our Club Wembley offering allows them to do this at a variety of different levels. All our packages are tailored to suit specific requirements and include first‑class food and beverage options alongside the best seats in the house.
“Club Wembley continues to offer visitors a unique opportunity and experience to watch world‑class sport and entertainment at the national stadium.”
From August 2022 to July 2023 Wembley Stadium was host to 30 major events. This included some of the nation’s biggest live music and sporting events such as six nights of Coldplay, four nights of Harry Styles, Foo Fighters (Taylor Hawkins Tribute), Carabao Cup Final, two FA Cup semi‑finals, Emirates FA Cup Final, Women’s Finalissima and two men’s England internationals.
Next year, in addition to the usual football events traditionally held at the stadium, Wembley Stadium will host the 2024 UEFA Champions League Final. It will also be home to six nights of Taylor Swift’s The Eras tour, with more big acts and events set to be announced in the upcoming months.
