Rovers Committed To Making Positive Change!

Rovers FC and Change Please partnership Blackburn Rovers FC are delighted to welcome Change Please as a new supplier to Ewood Park.

The social-enterprise coffee company have teamed up with the club and their catering partners, Sodexo Live, to provide award-winning coffee across our hospitality, conferencing and events spaces, as well as for supporters on the club's concourses.

Change Please was created to fight homelessness through selling great tasting coffee. Since 2015, they have been using 100% of their profits to give people experiencing homelessness a living wage, job, housing, training and onwards opportunities.

Supporters who enjoy one of their hot beverages on matchday will be directly contributing towards positive change in the community, as well as getting a taste of some of the best coffee in the country.

Rovers’ Chief Executive Steve Waggott said: “We are delighted to support this new venture, which builds on the excellent work we have been doing in partnership with our Community Trust and our charity partner Benefit Mankind aimed at tackling homelessness in the local area.”

Simon McMain, Account Director, Sodexo Live! UK & Ireland, said: “Sodexo Live! are always looking for new and innovative ways to support the communities we operate in, improve social inclusion and reduce inequalities, so we are proud to work with Change Please coffee to help tackle the homelessness crisis.”

Cemal Ezel, Founder and CEO of Change Please, said: “Thanks to this fantastic partnership we can continue to spread our message to more people. Blackburn Rovers are an incredibly community-focussed club and with the continued support of Sodexo Live, we can have more impact and give more people fighting homelessness another shot at life.
