Now Open – The Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2022
The Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2022 are now open for entry. There will be 12 award categories this year, including two new awards, which recognise the very best stadium venues across the UK. Each category is independently judged by experienced industry experts.
The results will be announced at the prestigious awards evening on Thursday 26th May 2022 at Liverpool FC. The event will be the 15th awards, and will take place in Stadium Experience’s 20th Anniversary year. Tickets start from just £99 each - BOOK TICKETS NOW!

2022 Award Categories
*NEW* Outstanding Contribution Award – Sponsored by Taste Coffee
This award recognises those individuals or teams who are simply outstanding at what they do, and continuously shine. This can be something as part of their regular duties, or perhaps focusing on supporting the local community or business recovery from challenging times.

This award recognises the best retail catering teams at stadia across the UK. This team will demonstrate commercial growth, high quality food offerings or proactive sustainability improvements.

Matchday Sales Team of the Year Award – Sponsored by Green Gourmet
This award recognises the very best matchday sales team in stadium venues across the UK. Entries will demonstrate strategies for growth, brave new ideas, and overcoming challenges.

Non-Matchday Sales Team of the Year Award – Sponsored by Special Occasion Linen
This award recognises the very best non-matchday sales team in stadium venues across the UK. Entries will demonstrate strategies for growth, new ideas for unique and different events, creative use of their spaces, and overcoming challenges.

This award aims to recognise the very best stadium events venue within the UK. Judges are specifically looking for a stadium venue which consistently displays exceptional venue facilities and outstanding guest experiences.

The Visiting Football Directors Award category is voted for by Directors at each football club. They are specifically asked to consider the welcome, service and catering when casting their votes.

Overall Matchday Hospitality Award – Sponsored by MSL Verteda
Experienced chef and hospitality experts attend your venue to try out your matchday offering. Each element is carefully considered and scored against strict criteria. This category is split into 3 (small, medium and large) based on the number of hospitality seats on a matchday.
By entering this award, your venue will also be submitted into the Overall Matchday Hospitality Award, which competes all venues against all.
Judged by industry experts with over 20 years experience in the chef and hospitality industries.
The closing date for entries is 1st April 2022, with the results revealed at a glittering awards ceremony on Thursday 26th May 2022 at Anfield, home to Premier League Liverpool Football Club. The event, officially sponsored by Carlsberg, will be the 15th awards, and will also mark a major milestone for Stadium Experience, which will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year. The awards ceremony will be at Anfield, home to Premier League Liverpool Football Club, on Thursday 26th May 2022.

All pre-existing paid sponsorships, award entries and ticket bookings from 2020 will automatically be moved to the 2022 awards event, unless otherwise indicated. Event details are subject to change in line with the latest Government restrictions.
