Large State-Of-The-Art Screens Installed At Easter Road

Hibernian F.C. have announce that brand-new state-of-the-art LED screens have been installed at Easter Road.

This is the latest upgrade to their stadium as part of their intention to become a leader in Scotland for supporter matchday engagement.

Through the use of the screens, they aim to enhance the experience of Hiberian’s supporters inside Easter Road by providing them with a pre-match video offering and a live feed of the game. The video content will be developed week on week, with in-game replays eventually being introduced.

The screens are situated in the corners of the East Stand. However, to stop supporters who have seats in that stand won’t miss out, there are two smaller screens and digital scoreboards inside the East Stand.

The two main screens are 59m² in size, while the two inside the East Stand are 15m².

Enhancing the matchday experience through the use of big screens was one of the aim of Executive Chairman Ronald J Gordon (pictured below in front of the new screens) when he became owner of Hibernian FC. He is constantly looking to innovate and create the best experience for supporters.

“We’re delighted to have fulfilled an early promise and ambition of ours by installing four top of the range screens at Easter Road,” he said.

“We’re really passionate about increasing supporter engagement and making sure that supporters have the best possible experience when they visit us on a matchday; these screens will certainly be a major part of that.

“The installation of the screens shows that we continue to move forward as a football club, and we are always looking to innovate.

“We’d also like to thank ADI for their work with us. Over the last 18 months we’ve worked incredibly close together to make sure the screens worked at Easter Road from a technological and structural point of view.”
