Oxford United are delighted to confirm it has signed a legally binding lease option with Oxfordshire County Council for land known as The Triangle, as well as completing a community collaboration agreement.
Major Development For Tavern And Allen Stands At Lord’s
Plans have been approved by members for MCC to redevelop the Tavern and Allen stands at Lord’s, their second major development in three years.
The £61.8m project, which was put to the Club’s 18,000‑strong membership at its AGM last week, will provide improved catering, hospitality and accessibility, as well as increasing the overall ground capacity by an additional 1,100 seats.
DW Stadium To Become The Brick Community Stadium
- The DW Stadium has been renamed as The Brick Community Stadium.
- The renaming of the town’s historic multi‑sports stadium is in partnership with local charity, The Brick.
- The name will initially remain in place until the end of 2025 – Wigan Warriors and Wigan Athletic will continue to work together to secure a long‑term commercial stadium partner for 2026 and beyond.
Wigan Warriors and Wigan Athletic have announced that the DW Stadium will officially became the Brick Community Stadium on Monday 13th May 2024.
