Cazoo Becomes An Official Partner Of The EFL

Cazoo Becomes An Official Partner Of The EFL Cazoo, the online car retailer, has further bolstered its growing sponsorship portfolio by becoming an official partner of the EFL, the English soccer body, for the second, third and fourth tiers of soccer in England.

The Cazoo logo will receive extensive exposure at EFL’s showpiece finals at London’s Wembley Stadium starting with this weekend’s Papa John’s Trophy final followed by this season’s Carabao Cup.

This exposure will follow through at all the playoff finals and across all 72 EFL clubs from the 2021/22 season including significant matchday LED and digital branding.

This new deal complements Cazoo’s existing shirt sponsorship of top-flight sides Everton and Aston Villa.

Cazoo, launched in 2019 by founder Alex Chesterman, also has partnerships in sport with The Hundred cricket tournament, the World Snooker Tour (WST) and this year’s Rugby League World Cup.

In joining forces with the EFL, Cazoo joins a portfolio of partners that already includes Sky Bet, Carabao and Screwfix, among others.

Trevor Birch, the EFL’s chief executive, said: “It is testament to the appeal of our competitions and the unique strength of the EFL to deliver local activation on a national scale that despite the difficulties of the pandemic, an exciting and fast-growing brand like Cazoo has joined our portfolio of league partners.

“We’re looking forward to working with such an innovative company that already has a firm presence within football as we help them to meet their goals of becoming the best-known car retailer in the UK.”
