New Dates For The Cleaning Show 2021 Announced

New Dates For The Cleaning Show 2021 Announced UK’s premier cleaning and hygiene trade event rescheduled to 8-10 June this year

Organisers of the Cleaning Show have announced that it has been rescheduled to 8 - 10 June this year.

The show, which will take place at the ExCeL London, was originally due to happen this March but has been rearranged due to uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Organisers Quartz Business Media and the British Cleaning Council (BCC) expect that by then, the worst of the pandemic will be over and that organised business events can take place safely and confidently.

The safety and well-being of participants at the event is the number one priority.

Quartz Business Media has worked closely with the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) in developing the Government-approved All Secure Standard.

This document outlines the highest levels of hygiene and safety, and enables the Cleaning Show to operate effectively and safely according to Government and local authority guidance.

Highlights of the planned show include:

  • the highly-topical conference programme
  • the Cleaning and Support Services Association’s (CSSA) Innovation Showcase
  • a new, dedicated demonstration area
  • the return of the Window Cleaning World Cup
  • and the Cleaning Show Awards.

The popular Cleaning Show conference will address the big cleaning and hygiene issues and opportunities that could have an impact on the future of businesses and public sector organisations.

  • the new normal for cleaning post-COVID-19
  • the role of training and education
  • technological developments including autonomous cleaning machines
  • and the green agenda for cleaning and hygiene

The show is hosting the CSSA’s Innovation Showcase for the first time. It will celebrate the cleaning industry’s most innovative products, services and initiatives. Another new feature, the window cleaning and carpet cleaning village, will provide a chance to try the latest products on offer, attend workshops and network with equipment providers.

Stuart Dacre, Chief Executive Officer at Quartz Business Media, said: “The Cleaning Show in June will offer the first opportunity that our industry has had to meet in person following one of the most challenging times for the cleaning sector in a generation.

“So much has been achieved by cleaning professionals during the pandemic and the Cleaning Show promises to be a productive and safe environment whilst celebrating the role the industry has played in the fight against Covid-19.

“All existing exhibitor bookings and visitor registrations remain in place and will be transferred automatically to the new dates. We have been contacting exhibitors, visitors and speakers to inform them.

“We would like to thank everyone involved in the show for their continued support and patience during this challenging time. We look forward to welcoming you to the Cleaning Show in June.”

Paul Thrupp, Chairman of the BCC, said: “With so much uncertainty about the course of the pandemic over the near future, rescheduling the London Cleaning Show to June this year is the sensible thing to do. The safety of visitors and exhibitors will always be the top priority."

Jim Melvin, Deputy Chairman of the BCC, said: “The event is already shaping up to be very exciting and interesting for anyone connected with the cleaning and hygiene industry, with a huge amount to offer visitors and some great opportunities for exhibitors. I’m looking forward to it immensely.“

Attracting more than 7,200 visitors, the London Cleaning Show is the UK’s largest cleaning and hygiene event.

The biannual event is free to attend and features a wide range of national and international exhibitors as well as an exciting conference programme of talks by leading industry figures and experts.
