Stadium Experience Hosts First Well-Being Session in Aid Of Hospitality Action

Stadium Experience logo Stadium Experience has hosted its first ever dedicated well‑being session for its 50+ stadium venues, in aid of the charity Hospitality Action, raising over £300. 2020 has been the most challenging year the industry has ever faced, so the team at Stadium Experience wanted to adapt to help and support its members through these unprecedented times. The association welcomed clubs to join a special virtual festive celebration to see out 2020 in style.

Internationally recognised Mindfulness Speaker, Trainer and Published Author, Lee Papa began the session with a special wellness activity, focusing on understanding the power of perception and embracing change from a mindfulness perspective. Based in Las Vegas, Lee specialises in the Meetings and Events Industry, their clients, and corporate employees with her award-winning Mindfulness LoungeTM offered both in-person and virtually. Lee also has a new book, A Year of Mindfulness for Beginners.

Mia Butler from Pistachio View provided the latest tips and techniques on virtual and video selling tools, to help the sales team upskill ready for a fresh new year. Mia is an entrepreneur, sales trainer, thought leader, and passionate EventProf. Driven, and now encouraging sales professionals to ‘show up’ and do more, Mia is creating change and encouraging new thinking across the sales industry.

The group then made their own Christmas cocktails creations, before quizzing on Kahoot.

Collette Salmon, Chair of Stadium Experience, said: “Now more than ever, we are finding our virtual knowledge and ideas sharing opportunities are so valuable to all of our venues. 2020 has been a year like no other, and so we wanted to finish on a high! Well-being is a key issue at this challenging time, as well as ensuring all of our sales skills remain finely tuned ready for our return in 2021. To be able to do this and raise funds for such a fantastic and relevant charity at the same time, is really the icing on the cake! We’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and we look forward to working with you all in 2021.”
