Brentford Football Club Extended Partnership Announced With IFX Payments

Brentford FC extended partnership announced with IFX PaymentsBrentford FC is pleased to announce that IFX Payments has strengthened its relationship with The Bees ahead of the 2020/21 season.

An Official Club Supplier since 2018, IFX has signed a new three-year deal, which sees the specialist foreign exchange consultancy become an Official Club Partner and Official FX Partner. IFX will have its branding on the Club’s LED perimeter system, along with enjoying a number of marketing benefits.

Having left Griffin Park this summer, Brentford’s home of 116 years, the Club will host its first competitive game at its new stadium on Sunday 6 September with Wycombe Wanderers the visitors to West London. IFX’s logo will appear on the left sleeve of all shirts for The Bees’ Carabao Cup First Round tie, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

IFX Payments are a dynamic business with a global reach, serving a growing spread of corporate and private clients throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Australasia. They deal with Brentford’s foreign exchange, which is required on a regular basis when the Club is buying and selling players in international markets. They specifically work with their clients to minimise risk and help those they work with reduce costs.

IFX have recently launched ibanq; a multi-currency, virtual IBAN account integrated directly into their foreign exchange services and global payments network. ibanq allows clients to maintain, manage and distribute funds in up to 39 currencies from a single account.

James Parkinson, Brentford FC Commercial Director, said: “Taking into consideration our specific requirements - which often involves dealing in international markets - it is important for us to work with a Foreign Exchange Partner that can deliver a high level of client service and react quickly. IFX will continue to monitor our business and ensure our position is optimised at the time of trading. We look forward to working with IFX in the years to come as both organisations move into an important and exciting time in their futures.”

Simon Hughes, IFX Payments Director of 360 trading, added: "We are delighted to be partnering with Brentford FC for the next three seasons. The Club’s progress over the past few years has been truly astonishing and we're delighted to support them on the next stage of their journey as they move to their new home. Like The Bees, at IFX we pride ourselves on determination and delivering first-class quality, so look forward to watching the team fight for promotion this season."
