John Smith’s Stadium Huddersfield Re-Opens Conferencing And Banqueting Facilities Following Covid-19

John Smith's Stadium John Smith’s Stadium Huddersfield has re-opened its conferencing and banqueting facilities following the coronavirus pandemic.

The stadium is taking bookings for meetings, conferences and celebration events all of which will follow government guidelines with no more than 30 people attending any one event.

The on-site health and fitness club, café and Pizza Hut restaurant are all re-opening too.

Gareth Davies, Managing Director at The John Smith’s Stadium, said: “We are once again open for business after a very challenging period and are looking forward to welcoming people back to the stadium to enjoy some top class facilities and events.

“Our conferencing, banqueting and non-matchday facilities are all now open and we encourage people to come along safe in the knowledge we are following government guidelines at all times.

“Securing three big international acts in Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer as one of only four UK dates was a huge coup last year.

“So I’m delighted they have rescheduled for 2021 as it gives everyone something really big to look forward to.”

Next month two Coral Challenge Cup Rugby League sixth-round ties sees a double-header on Saturday, 22 August.

Holders Warrington Wolves face St Helens in a repeat of last year’s final with Castleford Tigers taking on Hull FC.

Both games will be shown live, in full, on the BBC.

Hella Mega Tour headliner Green Day will be supported by Fall Out Boy and Weezer on Saturday, June 26 next year having been originally scheduled to perform this summer.
