Proof Of Vaccination Needed To Attend Euro 2020 Group Games

Wembley Stadium with Euro 2020 signage UEFA have said that fans attending England’s Euro 2020 group games at Wembley Stadium will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test on entry to the stadium.

Effectively all UK‑based ticket holders aged 11 or over must show proof of full vaccination, with both doses received at least 14 days before the match and those not fully vaccinated must show proof of a negative lateral flow test taken within the previous 48 hours. Fans who live in England attending games at Wembley can show.

England play Croatia in their opening group game on Sunday, 13th June, 2021.

However, for the 12,000 fans permitted at Glasgow’s Hampden Park matches there will be no such requirement for ticket holders to provide proof of vaccination or a negative Covid‑19 test.

UEFA have said its “main priority" is to deliver a safe tournament, and is "working with the local governments and health authorities to ensure measures adhere to the public health guidance of the host country".

Wembley and Hampden Park are among 11 venues across Europe hosting Euro 2020 games. The others are in Rome, Munich, Baku, St Petersburg, Budapest, Seville, Bucharest, Amsterdam and Copenhagen.

For England's Group D fixtures against Croatia, Scotland and the Czech Republic, Wembley Stadium will host a maximum of 22,500 fans which is 25% of its capacity. The stadium is also due to host a last‑16 tie as well as both semi‑finals and the final.
